Collection: Besednice Jezkovna

Besednice Moldavites are highly prized & sought after due to their appearance and rarity. Known as "Hedgehogs" for their spikes, these beautiful green, rich & dark textured tektites were found in and around the Besednice townsite & nearby fields.  A very notable physical characteristic of Besednice crystals is that their density is slightly less than that of other moldavites, even those found within a few kilometers away.

Star Crystal Shop currently has moldavites from 4 different locations in the township of Besednice.  From the industry standard book " Moldavite:  Mysterious Tears From Heaven" the location detailed below as "Jezkovna" is used on this website to describe the locality within Besednice and these moldavites were purchased directly from one of the miners
